The box turtle, Lilo, has left her underground winter burrow and will soon meet the babies that hatched after she hibernated.
The hens are laying more eggs.
The children yearn to be in the fresh air.
The house exhales her stale winter air through open windows and doors.
For every tortuous summer, we earn a blessed Spring like this.
